1. The service
EliteNRIMatrimony.com ("we", "us", "our") is an online matrimonial introduction platform operated for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and residents of India seeking an NRI life partner. We provide profile hosting, search, mutual-interest expression, chat and optional immigration-document verification. We do not guarantee any marriage, match or outcome, and we are not a party to any relationship formed through the service.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be 18 years of age or older, legally free to marry under the laws applicable to you, and provide accurate information at registration. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password and 6-digit login PIN confidential and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, impersonating or unlawful content.
3. Plans & payments
Free NRI membership includes browsing, shortlisting and up to ten (10) expressions of interest per month. Paid plans — India Resident (£79), Connect (£199), Verified (£399) and Elite (£699) — each run for six (6) months from the date of purchase. Renewing extends expiry by a further six months from the renewal date. Connect and above unlock contact details and mutual-interest chat; Verified additionally reveals government immigration verification details to profiles with whom you have a mutual accepted interest; Elite adds the human match-maker service and weekly AI match insights. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and are processed securely by Stripe. If you enable auto-renewal, your current plan renews at expiry using your saved payment method; you may disable auto-renewal at any time from your dashboard.
4. Refunds & cancellations
You may cancel within fourteen (14) days of a plan purchase for a full refund, provided you have not used premium features (viewing unmasked contact details, viewing another member's immigration verification details, or using chat). Refund requests and billing queries: support@elitenrimatrimony.com. We aim to process eligible refunds within seven (7) working days to the original payment method.
5. Acceptable use
You must not: harass, abuse, defame, impersonate or spam other members; share another member's unmasked contact details, government reference, document number or verification details outside the platform; scrape, copy, index or republish profiles; create fake or duplicate accounts; use the service for commercial solicitation, dowry demands or any transaction prohibited under Indian law; or upload unlawful, obscene, defamatory, hateful or infringing content. Breach may lead to immediate termination without refund and, where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement.
6. Messages & matchmaking
Chat is available only to Connect (£199), Verified (£399) and Elite (£699) members and only between members who have mutually accepted an expression of interest. AI-generated match suggestions available on the Elite plan are advisory in nature and do not constitute professional, legal, medical or financial advice.
7. Verification
The "Verified" badge indicates that our team has reviewed a selfie submitted by the member. For NRI members, the "Government Immigration Verification" card additionally shows an outcome from an accredited government immigration verification service. These verification details — including any government reference, validity dates, entitlements and conditions — are disclosed only to members with whom you have mutually accepted an expression of interest and who hold an active Verified or Elite plan; they are never shown in search results or to unmatched viewers. These checks do not constitute background, criminal-record or exhaustive identity verification. You remain responsible for conducting your own due diligence before meeting any member.
8. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the photographs, videos and text you upload but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display and transmit them within the service while your account is active. All platform branding, design, trademarks and code remain our property. You may not use any part of the platform in a manner inconsistent with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules framed thereunder.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any liability which cannot be excluded under Indian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence or liability for fraud. Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive loss, and our aggregate liability to you is capped at the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may terminate or suspend accounts that breach these terms. On termination, paid access ends; where we terminate without cause, any unused portion of a paid plan will be refunded pro-rata.
11. Grievance redressal
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, our Grievance Officer may be contacted at support@elitenrimatrimony.com. We acknowledge every grievance within forty-eight (48) hours and resolve it within fifteen (15) days of receipt.
12. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. The courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
13. Changes to these terms
We will notify you by email and in-app notice at least fourteen (14) days before any material change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. This version is dated February 2026.
